Raquel joined PRN as the program’s director in 2021. Born and raised in Laredo, Texas, she received her BA in psychology in 2009 and an MFT in marriage and family therapy with a concentration on general counseling from St. Mary\u2019s University in 2012. (Go Rattlers!) Her clinical approach utilizes a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and a solutions-focused model. Raquel has five years of experience working with adolescents at an inpatient behavioral health facility where she led daily support groups focused on establishing and maintaining healthy coping skills, as well as providing individual and family therapy. Prior to this, Raquel was a case manager in San Antonio at the Center for Health Care services, which provided services to adults recently discharged from a crisis situation in order to prevent crisis relapse. These services included skills training, medication management and referrals to health programs as needed. Raquel strives to excel in providing assistance and support to people in a personalized and clinical manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Abby Coronado, LMSW<\/strong><\/span> Abby Coronado strongly believes in the PRN program\u2019s non-punitive, rehabilitative model. She earned both her bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees in clinical social work from The University of Texas at Austin, where she was named an Integrated Behavioral Health Scholar and a St. David\u2019s Bilingual Social Work Scholar. Prior to joining the PRN staff in 2023, she spent three years as a clinician in the admissions department of an acute psychiatric hospital. She aims to provide supportive services with compassion, respect, and strict confidentiality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Will Turney, LMSW<\/strong><\/span> Will earned his bachelor\u2019s in psychology and master\u2019s in social work from The University of Texas at Austin. He has experience in case management with a diverse population of clients experiencing substance use and mental health issues. He has a passion for advocating for his clients and focusing on a strengths-based and solution focused-approach.
